Four years ago, on a dark, wet, wind swept, Mancunian evening, a group of friends gathered and began to hatch their plan...Far and wide they would spread their gospel of musical righteousness and the people would flock on the last Friday of every month to the den of iniquity named Charlies. And there they would worship at the alter of Naive Melody, dancing like loons and wailing like banshee's under a full moon whilst their friends were thrown out for having sex in the toilets...
Anyway, to cut a long story short (and because the space on here is limited) this went on for four years and now its our 4th birthday! In keeping with the tradition of our riotous birthday parties, we have lined up Mr. Andrew Weatherall, one of our all time musical hero's, to come and play for us in Charlies. Thats right, Andrew Weatherall in little old Charlies. Digging deep from the crates and playing for four hours, expect the full range of the Weatherall musical spectrum as we celebrate four years of Naive Melody in style.
